PM calls Paras Khadka to congratulate for Div 3 title
Prime Minister Sushil Koirala on Thursday called Nepal cricket team skipper Paras Khadka and congratulated him and his team for their victory over Uganda in the ICC World Cricket Division 3 final.
Nepal had defeated Uganda to lift the Division 3 title at the final match held in Kuala Lumpur of Malaysia today.
According to PM’s press coordinator Prakash Adhikari, the Prime Minister congratulated the cricket team on behalf of him, the government and all Nepali people.
He also wished that Nepal may improve their performance in international cricket in the days to come.
Nepal cricket team have lifted the national pride by getting promoted to the Division 2 status, Adhikari quoted Koirala as saying.
